ghost stories

This story I took t from book called "TRUE SINGAPORE GHOST STORIES" by Russell Lee and team of ghosts writer.This book is no 10.I randomly choose this story because it is i think it is cool but i don't know you guys what will you guys say.
"PUAKA PEOPLE" .Have you ever seen puaka(malay for nature spirits)?My friends and i spotted them often in the open spacee near rivers in the old days.
The sightings usally happened when we were returning home to our kampung after fishing or when we were going out to the sea.The puaka looked tiny humans being,no bigger than size of a coca -cola bottle.
They usally came out in the open very early in the morning,emerging from the ground at the foot of the trees.We watched them from behind bushes.They wereplayful and we could even hear them laughing.
When we placed morsels of cooked rice,eggs and fish near where they emerged,inevitably,the food will disappear.
Now,more than 50 years later ,a lot of lands in the area has been cleared for development and many of my friends have passed on or bacme too old to go fishing.
However,you can still see the puaka if you rise up early,but only from distance.They disappear
if anyone comes too close. ok that's all....
